With the support of our valued regional distributor, Hackademic, TRECCERT and TechVets are teaming up to pioneer a collaboration that brings together our collective expertise and resources, envisioning an ecosystem where veterans seamlessly integrate into civilian professions through certifications and career opportunities.

James Murphy, Director of TechVets, emphasizes the organization's commitment to collaboration with industry partners, stating, “One of my top priorities leading TechVets is to continue our work collaborating with industry. With so many companies that deliver excellent training, that also have strong principles and aligned values, it has afforded TechVets members to gain some incredible upskilling opportunities to ensure they are able to make the most of their Military skills and experience and move into fantastic careers in tech.”

This collaboration is centered around launching the ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation certification and training material at no cost, with the aim of bridging the gap between military service and civilian careers. As we advance, our plan involves expanding our offerings to include a variety of certifications in the field.

This partnership symbolizes a commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by veterans. James Murphy expresses anticipation, stating, I am very much looking forward to working with TRECCERT and Hackademic as we forge new opportunities for our members to train in GRC specialisms. This partnership embodies what our Programme is all about and the coming together of all parties has been seamless as they truly understand not only some of the challenges the Armed Forces community face when leaving the Military, but also the value that they bring to business”.

Thilo Klein, TRECCERT's CEO, underscores the company's commitment to the military community and other communities in need of empowerment, saying, “By collaborating with TechVets, we're dedicated to bridging the transition from military service to corporate success. Our commitment to providing premium training and certifications aligns seamlessly with our collective goal – empowering beneficiaries to not only excel but thrive in pivotal and impactful professional roles.”
